Summary of the Learning Impact Awards 2021 Program Finalists

Twenty-eight groundbreaking edtech projects from organizations in 10 different countries (Australia, Canada, India, Japan, Luxembourg, Norway, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam) advanced to the final round of competition for the IMS Learning Impact Awards 2021 competition.

Eight medal winners were selected by a panel of experts—that observe and evaluate presentations of each project—and votes from the edtech community-at-large. Entries are evaluated for evidence of impact on:

  • Personalized Learning
  • Institutional Performance
  • Advancing the Digital Learning Ecosystem

Winners were announced in June 2021.

Projects are organized by their Learning Impact trend classification so readers can easily identify solutions by a particular interest or teaching and learning need. The project detail includes a brief description of the solution and its learning impact; its objective and goals; and the potential user(s): K-12, higher education, and lifelong learners.
