Integrated Education and Training Platform with Seamless Integration of On-Demand and Live Streaming

IMS Japan Society Learning Impact Award Winner

Digital Knowledge Co., Ltd.

User: K-12, higher education, workforce/lifelong learner

Goals: Deliver online education through live distribution in corporate training and school lessons.

Challenge: Live streaming solutions alone are not enough to make training and lessons more effective. In addition, the decentralization of functions by multiple solutions leads to the decentralization of learning history and educational content, which hinders the improvement of learning efficiency and educational effect.

Solution: LMS and Zoom will be linked to realize online collective education through live or on-demand distribution.

Learning Impact: Currently leveraged by five organizations and reaching over 500 users, this feature seamlessly integrates Zoom and the LMS. Users register, teach, and manage their classes and lessons solely from the LMS, eliminating the need to switch between the two solutions, making learning more efficient. Face-to-face learning can be brought online, as live delivery can now be done from the LMS. This reduces the costs associated with arranging venues as well as travel time and travel costs for learners. It also makes it possible to offer classes to learners in distant locations.
