Congratulations to Jack Suess (UMBC) for being selected for the 2020 EDUCAUSE Leadership Award. Jack was selected for modeling selfless leadership and commitment to many different areas. He is well-deserving of this recognition as he models this same high level of leadership within the IMS community as well.
Congratulations to Kelvin Thompson (UCF) for being selected as a 2020 OLC Fellows for his innovative leadership in online and blended learning. If you weren’t aware, Kelvin and his colleague Tom Cavanagh host the Teaching Online Podcast (TOPcast), and in addition to their normal monthly podcast they have been doing an additional show a month for “field reports” offering collegial advice in getting through the current era of remote teaching necessitated by COVID-19.

Analytics ILN Is Back
Want to help shape the future of analytics in higher education? The Learning Data and Analytics Innovation Leadership Network serves as a forum for institutional discussion and planning around analytics strategies and initiatives, including defining the requirements, user stories, and focus of IMS higher education analytics work going forward. After a brief hiatus, the Analytics ILN is returning to regularly scheduled meetings, with the next one set for October 9. Find out more and sign up to participate.
